Ebony Rodriguez is a dance graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for Performing and Visual Arts. Ebony is a Dallas native that has been performing for the past 10 years. Ebony has trained at Dallas Black Dance Academy, Greiner Middle School, and Booker T. Washington HPSVA. Ebony has been trained by Susan Saveresse, Lily Wiess, Carla Wattley, Linda James, Kyle Richards, Robert Steward, Courtney Moore, Garfield Lamonius, Melissa Glasgow, and Moussa Diabate. Ebony was a member of the nationally acclaimed African Dance Ensemble and performed in New York, California, and Canada in 2007. She was also a member of Moussa Diabates West African Dance Company. In addition to her studies at Booker T. Washington Ebony has aslo study cultural dance at prestigious schools such as Debbie Allen Dance Academy in 2005 and Jacobs Pillow in 2006. Ebony is currently a student at Texas A&M University Commerce where she was former president and dance instructor of their longest running dance group "Under Construction" in the spring and fall semester of 2008. Ebony is currently a member of HappyNia Dance Theatre Productions under the direction of Dereque Whiturs, a former member of The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. This summer, Miss Ebony is a guest teacher at an international dance located in New Jersey..
